Happy Thanksgiving

November 23rd, 2016

by Judith A. Lindberg
The simplicity is overwhelming,
For what we plant, we also reap.
Lord, grant us soul seeds,
That we may plant them with love,
Water them with tears of compassion,
Nurture them with embraces of warmth,
Protect them from the storms of life.
Bless this bounty with grace and gentleness,
That the harvest will be abundant
In love, in trust, to be shared
With those closest to our hearts.
May we plant soul seeds for strength,
Harvested in hope this Thanksgiving,
For all the days and years that follow.

We are thankful for the feral cat,  Mama, who gave birth to these darlings last spring. Lissycasey and Maggie May. And of course we are grateful for many, many other blessing--- especially you.

Our friend Marni brought a loaf of this bread when we arrived home from Bill’s surgery.  It is yummy!  Fortunately Marni was willing to share the recipe.

North Coast Limited

This kit was one of QIC's best all-time sellers! Its poster of the train in the Bozeman Pass made it an essential purchase for tourists coming through our shop and for quilters who saw the advertisement in The Quilter Magazine. We have two of the fabric kits left. If we had interest from two folks, we could purchase the accompanying giclee prints. Otherwise you can get this gorgeous bundle of fabrics for half the original price. There is 11 1/2 yards of fabric in 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4 yard cuts. Order by following this link or replying to the email.

 Quilt Display Stands

Many visitors to the shop over the years asked about these unique quilt display stands. I have three left that I don't have a use for and I would love to find someone who wants these. I won't be able to ship them but if you are local and would like one, let me know and we can set up a time for you to pick one (or two or three!) up. They were originally $49.95, but are now 50% off. Call 587-8213 or reply to this email to let me know you're interested.

Punch Needle Rug Hooking Techniques and Designs by Amy Oxford  $24.99. I could get rid of many, many books but this is one I will always keep in my library. It provides inspiration for many things—life in general. Sometimes I just pick it up for a boost for the day. Order by replying to this email or follow this link.
